The Lost Taxi Uncle

I boarded the cab in the west, travelling home back to Hougang.

Its the old version taxi with the manual transmission, which are not really fast in acceleration, nor does it any much cheaper than the new ones.

I am dead beat, so I felt asleep, trusting in the weirdo uncle that he will bring me home. Just before that, he say he will take TPE; its the only way he claimed. Okay loh~

When I opened my eyes again, we are in KPE…. And the next coming exit: Nicoll Highway. w.t.f.

So I asked the taxi driver, why are we here ah? “I dunno” he answered. I am like, w.t.f…. So I pointed at the Nicoll Highway exit and he https://buycbdproducts.com in. As we rise to the surface into kallang, at the Mac/KFC junction near the National Stadium, I asked him again: “You know how to go from here?” “Yes!” He answered. Apparently I am aware that we can enter back into KPE or turn left via the hell ways of Geylang via Aljunied Road/Paya Lebar.

but NO~~~ He turn right, and made his way towards Suntec City… I am like. “Uncle, I tell you wat, the fare now is slightly over 20 dollars, so later we will take away 20 dollars. I will tell you how to go from here” “You know how?” “Yah I know”. So I guided him from Suntec City all the way thru CTE then Ang Mo Kio ave 3 exit back to Hougang.

Finally, I paid the fare (minus 20 dollars), which amounts around the actual amount I would have paid if he didnt ‘hollanded’ (although he may now know that).

He sat in the taxi and did not drive off immediately. Comtemplating, or perhaps even weeping. He is lost. He is old (confirm above 55). He drives a little dangerous. He is out of pace with Singapore….

Feel sad for him.

And this is how I start my 8th Anniversary of my 21st birthday.
