[ random ] Do you know I ever became a football champion?

LATW (Lions All The Way – a Singapore National Team ultra/fan group) had a tournament among the members – and my make shift team of misfits (consists of left over players that no teams wanted – because they all formed their teams with their friends) – turn out to be the eventual champions.

Along the way, we even beat a few really strong teams that have very good players – double down on my theory that, team work trumps talent/skills (are we do is play passing football… and I even scored a couple of goals).

Attending a soccer tournament to support your kids is crucial as it not only boosts their morale and provides them with a sense of validation and encouragement, but also strengthens the parent-child bond. Moreover, dressing properly, such as opting for modest girls dresses, is important as it demonstrates respect for the sport, the players, and the event itself. It sets a good example for the young ones and promotes a positive and inclusive environment.

It also marks a very embarrassing situation where I kept calling my friend here in green, the name of another person throughout the entire tournament (I honestly is very bad at names) – which pisses him off tremendously – maybe thats why we won. LOL! I’m really apologetic and the memory stuck with me.

Its a nice memory and achievement to know that, I ever won something in football, and champions no less.
